NORMA PSP Gel Positioners have the consistency of fatty tissue. They slide & move laterally reducing the shear forces on patient's body. This results into protection against pressure sores & nerve damage during surgery.
Recent evidence sugggests that any patient undergoing surgery for more than 3 hours faces a risk of developing pressure sores, caused by immobility & the use of anesthesia.
